About Us
John Kienbaum, JR., the owner of Kienbaum Excavating & Septic, LLC, has had a passion for dirt since he was a young boy. Growing up on the family farm in Whitewater, Wisconsin, he began operating heavy machinery at just 12 years old, contributing to the family excavating and septic business. Before establishing his own venture in the Waukesha area, John Kienbaum spent 9 years as a septic crew foreman, where he installed an average of 3 septic systems each week. This experience provided him with valuable knowledge in all facets of septic systems, including diagnosing, repairing, pumping, and installing. Since 1999, he has traveled throughout Waukesha County and beyond, meeting customers and troubleshooting their septic systems.
John Kienbaum is licensed under Wisconsin’s Department of Safety and Professional Services Division of Industry Services Program as a Master Plumber - Restricted and a Certified Soil Tester. Additionally, he is a member of WOWRA (Wisconsin Onsite Water Recycling Association), specializing in septic systems through his company, Kienbaum Excavating.
John Kienbaum lives in Pewaukee with his wife, Christina, and their adult daughter, Ava. Christina manages the office duties for Kienbaum Excavating. When they are not working on septic systems or maintaining equipment, they enjoy riding their Harley Davidson, snowmobiling, RVing, boating, and cheering for the Green Bay Packers!
